- As an active part of the Senior Exec team you will be integral to the design and execution of our strategic plan that meets the sustainable growth aspirations of the organisation. Strong engagement with Practice Leadership and the Underwriting Servicing team is vital to the success of the role.

We will rely on you to:
- Develop and implement sales strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives, increase market penetration, and drive revenue growth.
- Lead and manage the sales team: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with key brokers and distribution partners. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor market trends and competition: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Drive sales performance: Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team. Monitor performance, analyse sales data, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve sales objectives.
- Develop and manage distribution channels: Maintain, identify and develop strategic partnerships with key distribution channels, such as brokers, agents, and affinity groups. Optimise channel performance and ensure effective distribution of insurance products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with underwriting, marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Ensure compliance and risk management: Ensure sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement effective risk management practices to mitigate potential risks.
What you need to have:
- Extensive experience in the insurance industry including insurance products, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the insurance industry, preferably Insurer or MGA.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Established network of broking contacts within the industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
